                                BHSC Pool Rules and Regulations

1.    All members will have photo ID's on file at the gate, and their ID's shall be checked before admittance.
2.    All persons using the pool and its facilities do so at their own risk. Pool management will not accept     
       responsibility for any accident or injury in connection with such use.
3.    The cost of any damage to the pool property will be charged to the responsible member.
4.    No alcoholic beverages or glass containers or any kind are permitted on pool property including the
       parking lot area.
5.    No running, pushing, wrestling or causing undue disturbance in the pool area.
6.    No pets allowed in the pool area.
7.    Admittance will be refused to anyone with skin abrasions, colds, coughs, inflamed eyes or infections.
8.    Expectorating or blowing of nose in pool is prohibited.
9.    Floating equipment and toys (made of plastic and rubber) will be permitted in the baby pool only.
10.  Ball playing is not permitted in the pool area.
11.  Only one person at a time is permitted on the diving board.
12.  Swimming beneath the diving boards is prohibited.
13.  After completing a dive, the diver must swim outside the diving area as marked by the safety cone before
       the next diver can dive.
14.  No abusive language will be tolerated.
15.  Members shall drive slowly and alertly in driveways and parking areas.
16.  Parents must accompany all children who are non-swimmers into the pool.
17.  Refreshments will be consumed only in designated areas.
18.  Pool management will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal property.
19. The pool manager and lifeguards are required to enforce the above rules and regulations and have the
      authority to restrict any member use of the pool for any infraction of said rules and regulations.

NOTE:     Water wings in the main pool are not permitted.  This is due to increased liability and the
recommendation from the American National Red Cross Lifesaving Rescue and Water Safety.
